About Wear Luck

Wear Luck started as a cute line of shirts that we thought everyone would immediately love and have to have.  We just knew that if we had them in a few stores, they would catch on like wildfire.

We rented a booth at the huge apparel show in Las Vegas where JLO, P. Diddy and others were showing their new lines.  There we were, amongst the big players. Little Wear Luck, with our original shirts in 3 colors: pink, blue and white.  Yes, that is all we had.  We had 2,500 flyers with pictures of our shirts to hand out to the crowd that was about to form around us.

All smiles, we stood for three and a half days waiting for orders, and we did get a handful of orders for shirts here and there. However, we were expecting to sell 1000s! It’s a great product, so why weren’t our expectations met? It was a matter of image and purpose.

We decided to think like a marketing company launching a product and took a fresh look at everything about Wear Luck. What makes Wear Luck different?

Our “Aha moment” happened in a restaurant, while listening to women at tables around us talking about everything they had meant to do but didn’t or couldn’t for some particular reason.  Everyone was searching for ways to improve themselves and better their lives: more exercise, better health, great relationships, brighter future and beyond.  It hit us. Can clothing make you happier?

The simple answer is yes. If you use 1000-year-old, tried-and-true philosophies as modern reminders.  Your goals remain visible and your likelihood of success increases!  The more you accomplish the less stress you carry and the happier you are.

Now we just had to get the word out there.
